Onigo Musume, or Onigokko, is an indie idol group from Akihabara created by Akiba On Stage (now Love Mark Stage) / Atena Music consisting of girls in the third to sixth grades. They were being promoted as the youngest idol group when the group first formed on February 9, 2012. Onigokko used to have a subunit, now separate from the group, named Haru☆Kana, with just two of the girls. There were two pairs of sisters in the group until Tsukishima Meru graduated in May 2014 and then Kisaki Ayuki graduated in April 2015. The two girls in Haru ☆ Kana, Hoshina Haru and Kawahara Kana, have their own personal blogs, while each pair of sisters share a blog. On February 28, 2014 it was announced that Onigokko were releasing a seven track album. On May 6, 2014 the three oldest members, Meru, Kana and Haru, graduated from the group. On June 9, 2014 it was announced that Onigokko would be auditioning new members. The winners announced on July 12 were Minami Mikuru, Kamiku Nozomi and Kozakura Ichigo. Three more girls are trainees. Kisaki Ayuki graduated from Onigokko on April 19, 2015. On May 3, 2015 Onigokko created their official Twitter.
Around mid-May 2015 Akiba On Stage changed their name to Love Mark Stage. The management may also be new. Ayuki’s and Sakura’s names and info were deleted from the official website, along with all the trainees. Yumeno’s blog and Twitter were also deleted. Sakura is no longer a member of Onigokko, although no graduation occurred, nor was there an official announcement. On June 22, 2015 the Onigokko website announced that a new song will be recorded and new members will be added. The official Onigokko website has now been deleted. On November 3, 2015 Onigokko’s first single in over two years was released.
