Minipati ("Mini Party") is the Cooking Club in Sakura Gakuin. Their musical style is synth pop. The group consists of three girls, and there have been two lineups. The original lineup was formed in May 2009, before Sakura Gakuin formed! This lineup recorded two songs on the regular edition of “Sakura Gakuin 2010 ~message~”, “Happy Birthday” and “Princess ☆ a la mode”. The second song did not appear on the three limited editions of the CD. At TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2011 a new lineup of Minipati performed, and this is the lineup that continues to release songs on Sakura Gakuin albums and singles to this day.
Note: The group's name is sometimes referred to as Mini-Patisserie, meaning "Mini Bakery". The Japanese spelling of Minipati is phonetically written with no direct meaning to the name.
