Miyoshi Ayaka was born on June 18, 1996 in Omiya-ku, Saitama Prefecture. Ayaka was the second oldest member of Sakura Gakuin and the tallest during Sakura Gakuin's early period. Besides singing with Sakura Gakuin and the school club SCOOPERS, Ayaka is also a model and actress. In 2007, she appeared in the Kagrra, music video "Shizuku". Among Ayaka's many film and TV appearances are Shinizokonai no Ao (2008), a horror film, Solo Contest (2009), a family drama in which she has a lead role, Kokuhaku a.k.a. Confessions (2010), a thriller in which she has a supporting role, the bizarre TV series Atami no Sousakan (2010), in which she plays one of the main characters, and the comedy Gumo Ebian! a.k.a. Good Morning Everyone! (2012), in which she won the Sponichi Grand Prix Newcomer Award at the 2012 Mainichi Film Awards. She has also made several TV commercials. Ayaka has modeled for many magazines, including the Japanese version of "Seventeen". Ayaka has a blog at Ameba which she has had since June 18, 2010, her 14th birthday. Ayaka graduated from Sakura Gakuin in March 2012.
